It began on a day like any other. I wake up to my door opening. I hear my fathers voice grumbling, “Get up”. When my door closes it is as loud as a gunshot to my tired ears. I felt as lazy as a tree stump stuck in the ground. I looked at the electric red numbers that tell me how lazy I can be. It said 6:02 so I didn’t have to run to brush my teeth. I didn’t feel like getting up so I fell back asleep. In what seemed like no time at all I was dreaming about a kid. I have never seen him before. He was still like a statue.
